Home
In our search for the idyllic ideal, we create places of safety in which to exist. We move between buildings that were homes, each time leaving traces of previous lives, existences. Fleeing memories, loss, confining them to the architectural files of our memory and then embracing the unknown. This body of work is a record of my personal search but my intention is to engage the viewer, to spark the recollection of home, forging links between visual clues and personal memories. The placement and location of each house is my work, the photograph a means of recording it and sharing the search with others.
