![]() The work, which can be seen here, reflects a difficult chapter of my life. When my Mother became ill with Alzheimer’s I contributed towards her care until her death. Using autobiographical and anecdotal evidence as a departure point, I produced a personal response to the pressures faced by those involved with the disease, visualising the emotional and physical struggles. Dementia brings with it constant reminder of failure and loss. A loved, cared for, watched but unpreventable, unravelling of life.
